Happy Holidays, Rotaract!

Hello to all Rotaract members and fans. What a busy Holiday Season, eh? We were fortunate enough to celebrate Thanksgiving together at Michelle's House. How about those mashed potatoes Sharon brought? Mmmmmm.

We all have so many things to be thankful for and to celebrate this Christmas. Sharon and Derek are welcoming a new edition this coming June, Sol is home from Uganda, but not for long. He is off again in January. Our club has raised and additional $2,000 to support our project that will go to Sol and be saved for a future Rotaractor's journey.

Our dear Kristen has just announce she will be leaving us, BOO HOO, but her reasons are wonderful. She is headed to Oahu to attend the illustrious Paul Mitchell School. She said we can ALL sleep on her floor, so book your tickets now! ;) We have also lost two other Rotaractors in the past few months, Dan and Allison Swartzen-traitor...I mean Swartzendruber. We still love them, but miss them a lot. However, we are so proud they have graduated to "Big Kid" Rotary.

Elections are coming up soon. Who will it be? Michelle was just elected to the District Representative position and will be ensuring that in 2010-2011, Rotaract will be visible and loved in District 5190. As for the president of our club, we aren't sure....but there is someone VERY special who would be great (a boy too). I think this club needs a MAN to step up. Although, Yo, Sandra, and Michelle were pretty cool presidents. All girls, all the time!

I am sure there are many other wonderful things that have happened this year! Pleas, email Rotaract with any news and it will be done.

Happy Holidays to you all and your families. What a wonderful Rotaract family we have.

Until next time.
